羅雪寶以異性戀常態殘疾攝影師的身份深入跨性別群體，運用相機學習邊緣身體與身份多元交織的生活經驗，創作出融合攝影藝術、田野調查與社會觀察的影像作品。
在為期三年的攝影出版企劃中，她與社群一同在鏡頭前後探討性別操演與身份建構的複雜性，同時反思主流文化對邊緣群體的詮釋框架。
她專注於挖掘人像創作的本質以及主流視角與身份建構的互動，以此揭示多元性別身體的自我整合過程。在持續三年的研究企劃裡，羅雪寶投身一場文化深耕的旅程 —— 架起理解與對話的橋樑，同時展現藝術創作在創傷療癒中的深刻詩意。
Kathleen entered the transgender community as a disabled heterosexual normative photographer. Using photography as method, Kathleen’s work center on the core essence of portraiture and the dynamic relationship between mainstream perspectives and identity formation.
Over the course of ethnographic study, she reveals in crafted portraits the process of self-integration for diverse gendered bodies. She delved into the complexities of gender performativity and intersectionality collaborating closely with her photo subjects both in front of and behind the camera, while critically examining how mainstream culture shaped the marginalized framework.
Kathleen devoted herself to this three-year endeavor as a process of deep cultural cultivation—building bridges of understanding, sparking dialogue, and demonstrating the profound poetic power of art creation in healing and transformation.
