半條墨黑,筋骨青如死灰,似是枯黃衰竭。你說:「要不整束丟掉?」我看,這蕉是被誰捏壞了皮肉。

「動機是什麼?」我們展開了討論。

我看,動粗的原因是這蕉沒有好好成長。剝開來吃,肉不會甜,溶爛處處。營養不良,對廚師沒有用,重新包裝也賣不到個好價錢。這蕉不長芽,不能種。這爛貨,實在令人按捺不住要損毁她。

你說:「要不我們切走那些壞的部份看看?」我瞄一眼,這蕉是天性殘壞,救不得。

你還是溫柔地捧著她,逐一摘下蕉條,輕輕扳開了黝黑的皮。

Half in ink, ash grey bone edges, she seemed to be falling into her demise. “Get rid of the whole bunch?” You said. I’d say, this banana has been bruised by someone.

“What was the motive?” We began to discuss.

I’d say, the reasons behind the violence is the failure to grow properly as a banana. Peeled it open, the meat would not be sweet, melting here and there. Poor nutrition, no use to any Chef, wouldn’t be sold for a good deal even if repackaged. This banana wouldn’t bud, couldn’t be regrown. Total loser, asking for damage just from her looks.

You said, “let’s try cutting away the bad parts?” I cast an eye on her body, this banana has bad blood, can’t be saved.

Still, you held her tenderly, separated each of her arms, and peeled off the dark skin.
